Business Plans for Busy Professionals

Sue-Ella Prodonovich, Alistair Marshall and Paul Evans are specialists in law firm business development and marketing.

If you’re a solicitor working in a private legal practice, you probably have your hands full with a packed caseload and billing targets.  You might also be getting tapped on the shoulder about getting your personal business plan done for the next financial year.

Business plans are often maligned but they can be extraordinarily useful if the process reveals a line-of-sight to the handful of activities that contribute to practice growth and career advancement.

This virtual professional development session will provide easily assimilated, and proven, ideas to busy professionals expected to complete a personal business plan.

Three Areas of Focus in a 75-Minute Session

  1. Ideas for generating new business from new clients

  2. Ideas for defending and growing existing relationships

  3. Ideas for building your reputation online

Importantly, you will learn how to construct a plan which reflects, and builds upon, your strengths and priorities as a lawyer.

Who Will Benefit

  • Professionals working in commercial practices, in client-facing roles, who have responsibility for a revenue budget

  • Professionals who would like to improve their personal networks and enhance their profile in chosen markets

  • Professionals who work in practices that don’t have business development or marketing specialists to assist in planning.
